The Fish House

Paul Harwood’s restaurant in Newquay can be found on Fistral beach, just a stone’s throw from the water. It’s the sea that inspires the menus here, as the name suggests, and Paul and the team use only the best seasonal ingredients to create rustic dishes with authentic flavours. For foodies, a trip to Cornwall would not be complete without seafood, and you’ll find the menu at The Fish House tough to beat.

Two Clomes Pub

“Best pub grub in Newquay.” This is just one online review of the Two Clomes foodie offering! Expect pub classics with a Cornish twist, with generous portions and a welcoming host – just the ticket after working up a sea-air appetite.

Harbour Fish & Grill

Built into the cliff directly overlooking the harbour, complete with a restaurant, conservatory and terrace, humans and hounds alike are welcome at this foodie haven. Run by Aaron James, Aaron’s philosophy on cuisine is to keep it simple but elegant. With stunning food, beautiful views and an award-winning head chef, the Harbour Fish & Grill comes highly recommended.

The Boat House

Open every day for street food and drinks, The Boathouse is a relaxed street food market by Newquay harbour, delivering fresh Cornish seafood and a varied selection of global fare. Add to this a bar serving its own Newquay distilled gin, vodka and spiced rum, alongside other Cornish lagers, ciders, great wines and cocktails, plus barista coffees, and on a sunny day, a trip to The Boathouse is well worth taking the time for!

Portuguese Restaurant

Really, what it says on the tin! Specialists in Portuguese cuisine and described on Tripadvisor as a ‘must visit in Newquay!’. Also offering takeaway, why not grab yourself some dinner then find a quiet spot by the sea and enjoy it as the sun sets?

It gives you and yours the chance to experience amazing food and drink whilst overlooking the beautiful waters of the Atlantic, with a menu featuring burgers, pizza, sandwiches, salads, and an ever-changing board of specials.

Cosy up in a corner in the upstairs lounge and enjoy the interior that creates a sense of opulent and eclectic style; choose from the carefully curated wine and cocktail menus, and indulge in your choice from Head Chef, Ben Singleton’s tempting menu. Cove’s signature homemade pappardelle comes highly recommended, as do the rich crab bisque and St Ives hake. A restaurant that has vision, inspiration and passion at its heart, if you’re after a true dining experience, you’ll find it at Cove24.
